Somewhere North West

"Best time of year to visit?"

This is a matter of opinion? But.....Personally... Any time of the year?! Obviously it's quieter during the winter months but it's still very entertaining!

Costa Blanca Spain...

"Best time of year to visit?"

It depends on what you want.

For sea, sand and sun. You can really forget the winter months.

The sea is too cold (unless you are Scandinavian) and although you can get the odd beach day, they can be few and far between. After saying that, the weather is much better than the UK.

Also using outdoor pools wearing budgie smugglers is not good for the male ego.

The resort is usually busy in the winter but it's mostly Spanish pensioners. The promenade will be packed in the daytime and ditto the restaurants in the evening (especially in old town) but late night entertainment in Levante will be thin, but there will still be some.

High summer (July/August) is the exact opposite. The place is rammed, very hot and entertainment in full swing.

Personally I like May/June or September/October. Warm enough but not too hot and still plenty going on.

You could be unlucky and get a rainy day or two but you can get that anywhere.

I'm going on Sunday, it will be better weather than here. It won't be hot, about high teens I should think, as long as the Sunday is shining ill be happy, and a few cheap beers.

We've had fantastic weather for the last two years towards the end of September. An average of 27c, not to hot and hardly a drop of rain. It's busy too with a great atmosphere.
