Hi we are looking at travelling to PDI next year for the first time, looking for advice on where to stay centrally, airport transfers,taxi price from airport any advice for first timers.

If you want to be close to the clubs, then look for places near Cita.

Taxi prices have risen this year, so probably about €45 for a taxi from the airport. We used Blick last time - they were great and cost €30 (might have gone up since then). If you aren’t in a hurry, the bus from the airport is great and is under €4 per head.

Bus is definitely the most economical way to get to and from the airport.

Lines 66 or 90 are the ones to use, takes about 40 mins and cost £3.50.

Cabs take around 25mins and cost £60.

airport taxi cost me just over €48 on Saturday. A coach transfer in advance would be much cheaper.

Bus from airport to PDI is €3.50 if you don't mind doing that but then you have to get from the bus stop to your accommodation so can be a hassle.

Accommodation- there are numerous threads with recommendations, have a search, you should be able to find something.
