We are looking for any advice on greenfields hotel in PDI

Anybody else stayed there?

Told it’s popular for swingers

Has it got a naked sunbathing area?

Would anyone recommend it as a

Cheap hotel

Stayed in gold and suites hotel in the past don’t expect it to be as good

Can anybody help please

Naked roof area you in among the satellite dishes and cables. Food I wouldn’t serve to pigs rooms are clean but very very basic and anything other than a cup and saucer has to be rented from the reception’s extensive list. Quite frankly there are other cheap options in PDI. I would recommend using them

Hi. My Dad stayed there is April and loved it

He didn't use the rooftop but loved the location, his room and the food

It's all about taste and what you like and don't like

Location is in Irish quarter plenty going on when we have been there , stayed twice only B&B think we made breakfast couple times as we was out late lol , Booked for next year we always stay minimum 4 star but this was ok ish , we just like area it’s around 20 minutes walk to beach area where there’s plenty going on ,

suppose depends on time of year too we go winter time didn’t know about naked area so could update next year lol

I am staying there in October for the first time, my friend who is also staying there has been many times. I gather it's basic, very clean and good value for money with a nice pool.

Naked roof top area, not plush but if naked is your thing it's a bonus as a change from the beach.

I have stayed lots of times in that area, it's my preferance. Few mins walk to the prominade, from there left to Barras beach (a sheltered cove) shops/eating places, go right to Pdi main beach. Easy walk to Eden and taxis very reasonable to anywhere else.

We stayed there last November and are staying again in October. We only stay B&B but only made it to breakfast once last year as we were getting in so late. So, can’t really comment on the food available.

It’s clean, there are a few bars and restaurants really close. Yumbo and Cita are only a short cab ride away. As a base, can’t fault it. The roof top is basic, a few sun beds and showers. But, still quite a social area.

We’ve been many times and love it . It’s great value for money . Always plenty of options with the food , rooms are clean , good pool area and naked rooftops ok . We’ve recommended it to friends and they’ve all enjoyed it . Request a room on the front though the side rooms can be a bit grim as the only view is the air con units on the building next door . It’s also in the Irish quarter and can be noisy till the very early hours in the morning but you will find it hard to find a hotel in p d i that’s as good value for money

West Dublin

We stayed in April and loved it. Great value for money.

Cons;

Rooftop naturist area is a bit crap.

Breakfast meh

Pros;

Really nice hotel. Brilliant bar/restaurant right outside with great value tasty food, and all day bands.

Many other bars and restaurants a stone throw away.

Eden Swinger Club ( Highly recommend ) is actually walkable to.

Outdoor pool fabulous with more than enough sunbeds, poolside bar, with a two hour happy hour, two drinks for the price of one.

Stayed in July. Clean friendly hotel. Always found plenty to choose from at meals. Rooms and balcony’s are great. Sun terrace was fantastic. And so was the pool. Enter hotel out there but as always you pay for it. We would defo stay there again.

I’m there on 3rd Oct , my research on the place is similar to all said above :

Basic food - so I’m b&b only

Great area by Irish qtr - which I wanted

Naked roof top - which I wanted

Pool ok - probs won’t use it

Walkable to Cita & yumbo and beach - normally stop meloneras side and use taxis a lot so this will reduce that ..

Biggest thing I read to avoid was like full board etc as food may be disappointing… but everyone has different tastes …

We arrive here tomorrow we stayed here a year ago for the first time in GC, yes it’s cheap and cheerful it was our first ever all inclusive but we did eat at the hotel more than we thought we would. The staff are amazing and the naked sun terrace is basic but very very social up there

Was there in march. B&b, Alright rooms. , breakfast 3 stars

Everything is around, bars, pubs, shops, bike rentals, car rentals, hiking just across the road. Walkable distance to beaches, yumbo, cita, Eden

Nude rooftop alright,

Pool looks good.

Have booked again from next week, cheap enough.

Out again for the fourth time in March. 19th to 26th.

Rooftop naturist area is adequate and a change from the wind on the beach.

We do b&b as eat out in the evenings and do the clubs.

We have stayed many times at Greenfields and love the hotel but hears a little tip book directly with the hotel on a pay at the hotel free cancellation as the price goes up and down over the year that way if you see the same weeks you booked cheaper you can just rebook at a cheaper price and cancel your old booking

You never know might just save you a few euros

Or get the cyber Monday deal and get 35% off as we did. Linked to the cheap days on Ryanair and you can't refuse lol

Flights for 2

Cases seats and car park

Greenfields b&b for 7 nights

Total for 2 £740

Couldn't book soon enough lol

But yes we book normally through the hotel website.
