Unfortunately as a single man living here... I can confirm this is true.... The competition, (wrong word) is high. But it's all about timing.

Those couples looking for single men have their pick.

Although if your timing is lucky there's plenty of couples. Occasionally the odd single female.

I mostly use existing Spanish contacts.

But I stay here on fab because I feel the need to speak in English occasionally, and when I go to Ireland it works best.
