Went to where this place is going to be on Wednesday and will try to support it once it's finished and opened but blimey the racket coming from the old German guys warbling a few yards away in cafe Marlene's was really overpowering so unless it's gonna be a black bulldog type fun bar to compete with the din I've concerns it may be hard to chat once it's up and running.guess we'll see if it does eventually open

Have to agree, it's not a great location but I'm sure the OAP's at Cafe Marlene will enjoy any eye candy walking to and from it.

Your definition of between is different to most then, it's nowhere near Black Bulldog but it is very definitely behind Café Marlene. We were in it in April, not just guessing

By the way, I get what you mean about 'between' it's just that at the top of the stairs most people go either straight on, to Comeback, or turn right, to Black Bulldog...so they'd probably end up looking for you somewhere between Mach Bar and Heike's? Just my take on directions and a presumption most people enter via the leaning tower of Pisa entrance to Cita. Apologies if I've confused people
