Since the demise of Spice Lanzarote several years back, we want to plan a sexy trip out to PDI, but looking for advice on whether La Mirage or Venus Star would be better suited for us please

We go la mirage its snaller only 32 bungows.

La mirage is more laid back than Venus,we find it has a better atmosphere.

But if you are just lookkngvto play then Venus would be better option in our view as more playing goes on there

Hope this helps

Like everything else, it is all about opinions. Ours is that Venus is superior in every way. Nice restaurant, large playroom, bigger pool and huge jacuzzi. Sauna room and pool bar. What's not to like ?

We have now been over a dozen times and booked for 2 wks in October and a week in December

somewhere

Just our opinion

Venus, - much bigger, can be in your face, full on at times, more expensive. Great social/sunbathing area. More choice of couples to meet.

La Mirage - very good value for money, lovely rooms, smaller and more intimate, less of a choice to meet others, tends to be older couples, often completely dead at night.

Both are isolated from town so taxis at night etc.

Food - LM - basic but cheap and decent quality

Venus - proper restaurant.

Thank you for your feedback, we are definitely leaning towards LM but didn’t realise neither are away from town, are there any other options nearer town which would not require taxis back and fourth? X

Between Edinburgh and Scottish Borders

There are also naturist resorts, not swingers, close to V and LM. Taxi to centre is between 5-7 euro.

We are heading to La Mirage in August for the first time. Have stayed in Venus several times and the amenities are great so will be interesting to compare the two as mirage is so much cheaper. I can tell the pool at mirage is a lot smaller and there is a proper restaurant in Venus but it’s always empty at night. I am not sure there is a restaurant at mirage but Is there bar food?

Can anyone tell us whether they provide towels in the room and for the loungers as the website doesn’t tell you. Also is there a kettle in the kitchen?

We’re sure you’ll enjoy yourselve, after all how can you get naked in a swinger resort and not have a good time?

We’ve stayed a few times at Venus and had our first time at La Mirage in February.

There are some things we found to be better at La Mirage - having an on-site shop, hot tubs open at nigh, the bar area and getting dressed-up for happy hour, for example. Rooms there are good too.

We’d be happy to go back there too, but our favourite is still Venus. There is a lot more playing at Benus - and for us the atmosphere feels more conducive for fun. At La Mirage people seemed to wait for happy hour too interact and even then it was more like a sexy social.

Venus is also bigger and so has a wider range of people to get to know.

But it is personal preference choosing between two great places, and we are glad we tried La Mirage.

It's actually quite a pleasant walk back to La Mirage late at night. Feels really safe, and about 35 minutes from the Cita. Less from the Yumbo.

Asking someone to choose between La Mirage and Venus is like asking a guy to choose between small boobs and big boobs. Yes, we all have a preference, but in fact all of them are amazing.

We find La Mirage friendly, relaxing, sensual. We find Venus, exciting, sexy, fun.
