So, dunes excluded, are you able to play on the beach? Is it allowed? Encouraged? Frowned upon?

We went last year and did play but took ourselves off to very quiet areas. But I wondered on what the official and unofficial stance is?

Also what about in the orange lounger areas around kiosk 6/7?

Obviously happy to be respectful and tow the line, but just wondered on the general consensus!

Playing in public is illegal, the beaches are patrolled. Families use the beach too you know.

Understood. Obviously goes without saying that if kids are near then stop. But we’ve seen a little play ourselves so we have been wondering.

Does anyone else have any experiences or knowledge of playing on the beach in the swinger area?

Just bring a towel or umbrella & hide behind some rocks

Or head down as far Pdi beach as you can to kiosk 7 and the dunes you’ll be in dogging/nudist lands in no time

We witnessed a little ‘discrete’ playing at Kiosk 7 when we were there a couple of weeks ago . Was after 5pm when the kiosk had shut , and not so many people on on the beach …and the various patrols had stopped .

Have to say we were a little disappointed in the ‘vibe’ around Kiosk 7 overall. Nowhere near back to what it was pre pandemic…..didn’t hear an English accent for the first 12 days we were on the beach , maybe we just got a quiet fortnight .

There are a lot of place for playing and nobody could see you. You have a big spaces no restricted in Playa del Inglés side, near Santa Monica hotel, in summer is hard due temperatures, too hot.

First, Sex is not illegal unless you are in front of child. But I don’t recommend in a crowd adult area cause is not morally correct.

Some people plays after 5pm near a kiosk 7, and they have “discreet games”.

Second, other people place into a nest (canvas square you can buy at Chinese store). Is another option if you’d like outdoor sex.

Really all is possible almost if you respect to other people, but you should be ready for avoiding Merkats, they can appear suddenly.

What’s the quickest way to get to kiosk 7 Is it from the PDI or Maspalomas end or is there another way

Guessing roughly you're looking at a 10-15 minute walk. From the lifeguard hut there is a walkway that takes you onto the beach where the wet sand is easier to walk on.

I take my sandals off to walk on the wet sand but keep them handy since the dry sand can be REALLY hot from mid day onwards and even the walk from the loungers to the waters edge can seem very far when it feels like you feet are on fire!

Please remember that loungers/parasol rental is card only. The kiosks accept card and cash.

Also if you ask for a bottled drink you can ask for a cup with ice. The cups have covers to stop sand blowing in so that your cola is less crunchy.
