Anyone know if buying a business in fuerteventura helps with permanent residency?

As I understand it if the property part of the business is over €0.5M and bought outright you have the right to apply for a "Golden Visa". Residency is not granted on the purchase but you can apply once the purchase has been made. It may also depend on the type of business. I believe that you can apply for a visa and then residency if you are setting up a new business, but it has to be in a high tech sector.

It would be best to consult a good Spanish immigration lawyer.
