Just booked and it will be our first time there . 28th September to 7 October . Looking for any advice on fun places to go , clubs , bars , meeting points , places to eat etc and any advice on transfers to and from the airport would be good

and of course would love to hear from anyone going to be there the same time xx

You've got templum at the end of the hotel street and I've just found out the nightclub behind it has playrooms, there's also a club in Almeria city about an hour away

Good places to eat, there's Frankie's bar, good food nothing fancy and good prices, there's the pirates bar on the beach drinks and snacks during the day, I Vera town there's a number of restaurants including an Indian/mexican one that does some good food, if you want to head down to Mojaca )about 15 minute drive and I think a bus goes there) there's a multitude of restaurants, I'd recommend the Argentinian steak house at the far end past bar Valerie, Valerie do lovely food and cocktails.

I would try and get a bus from airport to vera taxi is 135 euros one way

Depending on which airport you are flying into there's a shuttle bus that goes from Alicante to mojaca, I'm not sure if it drops off in Vera but it's a short cab ride from mojaca to Vera, I believe there's also a bus from Almeria airport to mojaca

Yea we’ve tried looking at a few transfers and all seem expensive . Might hire a car it’s not much dearer and we will have it all week

A car is very handy down here, the public transport can be a bit patchy

Exclusive airport shuttles.co.uk run regular service between local airports with drop off or collection in Vera. Around €33 each way to murcia airport. We haven’t tried it yet but have had it recommended by several people we spoke to on previous visits.

Regards parking. The hotel has it’s own car park to its right hand side. We usually drive there and park the car for the duration. Who wants to drive anywhere that requires getting dressed.

we don’t take much clothes anywhere
