I think they are referring to districts within Malaga city - they're staying just North of the Centro.

Obviously if they meant El Ejido in Almeria they would be geographically challenged!

Right so we are obviously not from Malaga and first time being here so a little confusing area wise but 25 min drive from the airport. Plaza De La Merced is the closest reference point looking on a map. Also I am driving so not too difficult to get around.

Be careful at night around the top end area of Calle victoria. You are only a 100 metres from a really rough barrio.
