Mid Cornwall, South West

We may be looking at visiting at some point this year. Are there any times to avoid where its a bit quiet or the weather isn't great?

And any recommendations for a good hotel

Hi mates, it is a generic cuestion and difficult for answering; however I’ll try to doing it.

Depends your preferences:

-best weather (spring) warm and soft temperatures. SOUTH OF ISLAND (Mogan & San Bartome: those included the coast area, Puerto Rico, Maspalomas, Playa del Ingles). Summer could be bite hard if you don’t like hot temperatures. NORTH of the island could be non safe, because often it’s raining or cloudy.

-HOTELS: There are multiple choices, from Airbnb villas, home/caves, cottage to luxury hotels. I recommend you read the Forum thread for Hotels in Gran Canaria (most of people looking for naked sunbathing areas like GOLD, Abora, Playa del Sol) etc

Good luck

Zurich. NOT London.

School holidays, especially summer tend to be quieter and quite a few clubs and bars close in August.

The exception to the holiday rule in our experience is Xmas.

Hotels wise, lots of people have their personal favourites, we stay at Venus Star Resort.
