Zurich. NOT London.

They uave added extra staff to patrol the dunes. Fines can be upto €6000. Drones are also in use.

Info from a german swingers site.

The dunes have been cordened off as a site of natutal/ scientific intrest to allow them to recover from the abuse of humans. There are plenty of play spaces in PDI, why would ypu need to use an ecogically protected area?

I think a lot of people just like the idea of playing in the dunes which they have done for years……not my thing. Just a shame it’s now all closed off in certain areas even just for a walk round

Xxx

Sounds like grief now.

Can’t be going with guards drones and fines. I’ll now avoid. Guess that’s what they want.

I think they had to do something to protect the dunes as so much is getting lost.

We went last year (2022) and I was shocked to see the dunes, almost unrecognisble from my last visit in the 80s. They are a shadow of what they used to be.

oxfordshire.

We were there n March. Had a little fun in the sand. So many other people playing to. Loads of guys. Shame people don’t take the rubbish home with them. We did as it’s the thing to do.

When we went post-COVID it was surprising how much vegetation had grown back after just 2 years. I think that shook them into stronger controls on protecting the dunes.
