Alicante car hire

Hi fabbers,

I hope that this is ok to post here.

We are having a bit of extra time in Spain and need a car hire.

Can anyone recommend a reputable firm that won't do the usual scams, price inflation on key collection or charges on drop off, please? Currently in Alicante so from the airport or in town would be ideal.

I used to use centuro based in Alicante Airport...never had a problem..you do need to leave a hefty deposit on your credit card though..make sure you buy your own car hire excess insurance much cheaper than at the hire desk..don't let them scare you into buying their so called extra cover..if you damage the car they take money off your card and you claim it back simples.
