PDI FOOD AND DRINK PRICES?

Hey guys, we are heading over to pdi in September, I know it’s a little while off but we have just booked and paid for it. How reasonable are the prices for food and drink over there? thanks

It does vary, depending on where you go, we were there over Christmas and New Year and found that the quieter places off the beaten track away from the main strip were more expensive, but one of us is a non-drinker, so obviously the bills were a little cheaper for us? We found that most of the cafes and restaurants along the main strip were pretty much the same price wise for food, again depending on what you have? Have a great time! x

If you are at the Princess then all you need to do is cross the bridge into San Fernando where the food is good and prices are reasonable. Also around the corner from you is Jardin de Sol where prices are very fair.

A beautiful fillet steak will cost you just over €20 and a beer around €5 in a top steakhouse

Rias Bajas near to the yumbo centre superb restaurant. Not cheap we had 3 courses smoked salmon starter salt crusted sea bass then a baked cheesecake with wine and coffee. €80+ each. But can I say it was well worth it. Pete n poppy.

Hm, be careful with that because on the way back, Eden is just before you cross the bridge, and that club is a well known den of seething immorality. After a nice bottle of wine with your meal, you'll be unable to resist.

It’s all about context. Add in the location, the ‘free’ entertainment and the fact you can stay there all night we think it’s very reasonable.

It all depends what your budget is and what you enjoy. Compared to a similar dining experience in the UK we think it’s not expensive at all.

It’s hard to give specifics as there’s so much range and options. The short answer is there’s something for everyone’s budget and tastes. In general, like most places, it’s cheaper than the UK equivalent but not by loads.
