Nervous Newbies First Trip to PDI

Cornwall

At the end of the month we are coming over to Gran Canaria. Whilst we are relaxed about the naturism aspect of our hols, we are nervous about anything more.

We want to expand our naughtiness and have enjoyed a few socials with couples so far. What do you guys recommend when over in PDI?

Thanks

Just enjoy yourselves.

The beach kiosks are a great place to meet people during the day for a chat and a beer.

Fun4all in Cita centre is like a naughty nightclub , friendly and no pressure.

First thing to say is that PDI is not purely a swingers' resort. The vast majority of people you'll see are not swingers. It's largely a family resort, but one that has long been particularly accepting of "non-vanilla" sexualities.

Swingers clubs and bars are right next to family restaurants. The good thing about that is that it's very easy to choose your own level of activity. Everyone experiences PDI in their own way - for example we hardly ever go to clubs. Feel free to find what works for you.

The first time you visit the Cita centre, your reaction is likely to be horror. To call it grotty is an understatement. But after a while that becomes a bit of its charm, and it is very safe, as is the rest of the resort.

The Yumbo centre is a bit better, but not great. It's more gay, and less swinger, but like everywhere else there's a lot of vanilla - especially the restaurants.

I'd second visiting Venus for the day. Couples sun-beds with mattresses where you can people watch other couples who mostly don't play with other couples, but do have a lot of sex themselves!

From what others have said, the dunes are not what they were due to access restrictions - it's a nature reserve. But the beach is good for an all over tan. Just don't go on a windy day, or you'll get sand blasted.

Another vote for the Cita centre first go to the comeback bar to start with which is a swinger friendly bar then our recommendation would be fun4all for a club both are non pressure and you won’t get pestered or you can get involved

We live in PDI so we're biased

There really is nothing to be nervous about. Be prepared to meet happy, relaxed and friendly people from all over the world. We met people on our first trip to PDI who are still good friends to this day. Be prepared for good food, reasonable prices, sunshine, dancing and banter. You may notice some female taxi drivers here because it is a very safe holiday destination with a large police force who understand tourism is their lifeblood.

If anyone makes you feel uncomfortable in any club or bar, please inform the staff and the issue will be addressed.

Speaking to our customers an overwhelming majority describe the worst part of their holiday as having to go home. Many of them return 3 or 4 times a year.

There are a few things that apply here the same way they do anywhere... Don't let your drink out of your sight. Don't leave your handbag on the floor. Also. Use sunscreen (there's usually a cool breeze that stops you feeling the sun). Don't wear your favourite sunglasses in the waves at the beach (the waves are small but powerful).

Enjoy

There is never any pressure. The extent of your participation is determined by your comfort level.

You can’t go wrong really, you can do as much, or as little as you want.

It really is as simple as that, with loads of swinging bars and clubs and many many more vanilla ones, you’re spoilt for choice.

Same with Venus, we’ve been to the BBQs and seen full on orgies as we gently sit and drink a smoooooth cocktail….it you want to join in fine, watch…fine, hide under a blanket fine.

It’s all about what you feel happy and comfortable with.

NO ONE will force you to,do anything you want at all.

Watching

Venus Star on a day pass is a fantastic experience, get naked in the sun on the large sunbeds, grab a cold beer, swim naked, play, watch, chat, perfect place enjoy yourselves without any pressure, it's our favourite adult fun spot, shuts to day visitors at 5 or 6 ish we think depending on the time of year, great for newbies like us x

Forgot to add and as has already been said try Eden, couples night is a good starting point on a Monday, it's a no pressure friendly environment, very well managed and with the best jacuzzi ever

It should be pointed out that nude or dress down areas in some places are mandatory. For instance you can't go to Venus and sit at the pool fully clothed.

In terms of playing, we know a lot of people who attend swinging venues who don't swing at all. No one frowns. It's up to the individual.

I'd say go on a day when there isn't a barbecue so it's a bit more relaxed. You'll see other couples having sex on their loungers, but you're welcome just to watch.

Nudity is mandatory once you're past reception.

We are currently there now.

Once you get past the first few minutes of realising everyone is naked, you'll relax in no time.

Fun relaxed vibe in the sun, Dona's little or as much as you want. That's the beauty of it.

As has been said the BBQ is rather busy, but most days have a good mix of people and if you go for a day visit you can leave whenever you want. (Just get there at 12 to get a sunbed)

We only started this lifestyle in October, but have been here 3 times since.

Just to add, if you are comfortable with the naturism aspect that's all you need to do if you want!

You'll probably find you might want to progress but that's your choice. Most couples play with themselves.
