What do people find is the most accurate forecast site for PDI weather from past experience.

I know forecast and accurate don't generally go together.

Booked flights from 9th Dec - 21st Dec.....strongly thinking about cancelling, going by what I see so far.

PDI 12-26th Nov 24

Long range forecasts are useless at the best of times but especially so on a small island if the middle of the Atlantic.

Theres a dramatic difference between North and South and they only average a handful of rainy days in the south.

This is the reply, I was really secretly hoping to get, from experienced PDI'ers. So looking forward to some sun. Thank you so much for posting. S

Las Palmas the airport is on the met office app but I think for the local ones you have to be out in Gran Canaria to actually save them on the met office app

Take care. And prepare for a couple of days NOT sunbathing or going to the beach.

But tis just a sprinkle compared to weather in the UK. Usually clears up very quickly once the sun comes out

And there's often quite a difference in terms of cloud between PDI and Maspalomas even though one merges into the other.

Hard to get an accurate forecast, forecast was for 23 degrees, cloudy with shower's today, reality was 26 degree's and sunny, fingers crossed it continues like this

A lot of the weather apps just give you the forecast for the nearest city, and claim it's local.

So they give you the forecast for Las Palmas, and claim it's for PDI, even though the weather between the two is often very different.
