Costa Blanca Spain...

Fiesta time is rapidly approaching and it looks like there will be a lot of fabbers in town.

We will be in The Swing on Wed 16th, straight after the fireworks.

Anyone else going on that night?

Costa Blanca Spain...

Open 9pm-2am but I doubt there will be many in until after the fireworks.

However Benidorm will be full and there are quite a few fabbers in town (plus locals and others) so I would expect it to be busy later.

Good idea... we'll pop along too. Hopefully quite a few fabbers will get the message and will all come along to make a good night of it. Might be worth giving the owner the heads up about the influx of couples....

and no doubt the 100 single guys

I'm sure Mrs H will take care of one or two of them.

I think the single guy numbers are limited, based on how many couples are in.

To all who read this subject: the reality is that all those who may or will come don't. So we have decided to remain open on Saturday but that's the only day of the week for now.

Wednesday was meant for tourists who are here for a few days (and not on Saturday) but if you can fit all those visitors in a single Ford Fiesta it makes no sense to open.

Will Saturdays be Couples only, or will you allow a few select respectful singles in too? This may encourage our attendance.

Some say 'if singles are allowed we will definitely no longer come' and some didn't come anymore because singles were no longer allowed.

We tried that in Sep and Oct and the visitor number went down 60%!

So, YES, single males are allowed! (But we keep the balance stricter than before)

And us. We are only in Benidorm Tues - Fri so that's it for us.

I understand why he has decided to close but I thought he might have stayed open for the fiesta week.

I'd have to ask Mrs first (she doesn't fly in until tomorrow) but fine by me.

Then it's about a 2 minute walk to the club.

Just read the Benidorm Times. It says the fire works finishes at 9 pm so we see you all then at 9.02 pm!

Anyone walking over: don't forget the ear plugs!

The after 9 pm (illegal) crackers cause deafness, blindness and perforated bladders so walk quickly!
