"So landed today and thinking of heading to Cita on Saturday night, and possibly tomorrow night after I’ve watched the rugby. Question as a single female how much hassle am I likely to get and best places to go where I’m not going to get tasseled lol. Comeback bar has been recommended as a starting point but anywhere else or places to avoid? First time out in GC "Stick to Cita, as there you have options...Comeback as a Bar and Fun4all, if you fancy a Club would, in our opinion, be a safe bet for anyone new to PDI. Never had a problem with pushy guys in either and there's always a good mix of a crowd. Some other places are worth visiting on specific nights but will be quiet, or filled with guys on other nights. Stick to Cita, as there you have options...Comeback as a Bar and Fun4all, if you fancy a Club would, in our opinion, be a safe bet for anyone new to PDI. "And does this same advice follow for a single male going to pdi for first time in January? " Honestly, it depends on the guy? With good social skills anywhere can be fun but we found, on our October trip, that the number of single guys had significantly increased. There are Bars that welcome all single guys and Bars that don't (Black Bulldog for example). Similarly, there are Clubs that charge single guys €10 and others that charge €50. Also be aware that there are some 'Clubs', particularly at one end of Cita, where you pay for the company of girls. I first went to PDI as a single guy when there were far fewer single guys around but I would suggest it might be better to look at the various posts/lists of who is going to be out there and perhaps start chatting on Fab and hopefully arrange a social meet in one of the Bars. It's definitely easier if you are in the company of a couple and gives opportunity to be introduced to others | |||

X" You will see there are a variety of views but I think these are places where you'll be welcomed and looked after by the owners if alone, plus 2x2 Meeting Point in La Sandia. T will certainly make sure you will not be pestered by pushy single guys, we speak from experience. We personally have had varied experiences of pushy couples and single guys in the popular, larger well known venues situated in the Cita Centre. It's a case of one night being different to another, so it is just the luck of the drawer. We hope you have a great time. Nell and Ben xxxx | |||

Good sound advice and finding like minded couple or couples before going out was my preferred route. Can't imagine a more laid back time for a good social with chilled drink while on hols! It really depends on how confident and outgoing you are and whether looking for single guys, couples or females." Thank you, you gorgeous couple
