So last year I saw one Dunes patrol guard all week but apparently it’s even more stricter now

So how bad is it? Can you still have fun?

What do people do in the day instead of the dunes if they’re no longer active?

We chill by the pool, grab something nice to eat, read a book, go for a beer at the front and enjoy the cheesy singers….. there’s loads to do

We went in May and didn't see any action whatsoever in the dunes, which is completely different to 10 years ago when it was everywhere

Not saying there isn't any, just that we didn't see anything at all.

This was behind Kiosk 4 btw.

We went yesterday and did find fun. Just take the path that splits right, walk on the path for a lil while and then venture off. We found a few guys.

Really can't see the fascination of playing in the dunes, sand getting into every crack (pun intended) no where to clean afterwards.... Keep the beach for sunbathing and play in Cita (cinema for the day and clubs at night)

Exactly this! The Dunes are a nature reserve, the future of the dunes is far more important than you wanting to have sex there. There are lots of other places. Long may the fines (some upto €1000) for straying from the designated paths continue.

If you want to have sex on the beach, go to Cap.

Watch out for the old guy in the blue hat with a towel round his neck- he will just stand behind you staring - he needs burying in the sand! Xx

100% correct . The Dunes are a beautiful, world renowned, protected environment and should be a place ALL people should be able to visit without having to worry about stumbling across peeps having sex. So many other opportunities for fun of all kinds in GC in clubs , swingers resorts, etc, etc.

For us, the beach is about sunbathing naked, and swimming naked, we love to take a picnic, nothing fancy just a sandwich some crisps and some red wine.

We play cards and make eyes at other couples and receive the same, all good liberating fun, after posting on our status what we are planning for the day, and inviting people to join us we’ve had a great time laughing and joking, with like minded people, we will do the same on our next visit, so if you fancy some craic and banter while naked on the beach, come join us, bring your own booze lol

Just got back first 3 days 2 men all in black racing around dunes telling people to stick to the paths then didn't see no one for 2 days last to days man and woman wearing stone trousers red tops rangers hats they had 1 man who was nude in trees away from paths if you look by nude beach you got a few men looking in to the dunes to see if any action Lol
