I live in Gran Canaria. At the moment it's dry, overcast with a slight breeze. I have washing out on the line as we speak

They tend to over exaggerate. We live near Benidorm..had red alert yesterday and sadly only had a few drops of rain.

I think the word 'cyclone' translate into something else in Spanish and via translation it sounded worse than it was.
