Playa del Ingles, Gran Canaria

Hi! Usually the best waves in Pdi is in summer, when the east of the island is windy. But, you don’t worry, you can be in Maspalomas in 10 minutes on foot, on Winter you can find good conditions, easier for bodyboarders. But if you won’t have a luck… don’t worry, the island is small and you can arrive to the north spots in less of 40 minutes on car.

Some of the main spots:

-La Cicer beach in Las Palmas city (the best) but a lot of people and schools. You can also find Laja y El Confital (locals could be a bit rude with visitors)

-Los enanos, Quintanilla, El Puertillo, Bocabarranco, Galdar (North), sometimes is hard for beginners.

-Playa del Hombre (Telde, east) near airport

-Arinaga, Mosca Point and Pozo Izquierdo (South Easth, bit windy but very funny when work)

-Arguineguin y Punta de Mujeres (south but 10 minutes on car from Pdi)

Hope the info were useful.

What are conditions like in PDI and Maspalomas atm, we don't want to travel anywhere but thank you for the tips.
