ST AUSTELL

Hi , can anyone recommend accommodation in Alicante for the first week in May . Looking for something very nice . Never been before so any advice welcome x

Costa Blanca Spain...

It's a while since we last used a hotel in Alicante city but the Melia is top drawer and super location

Quite pricey though.

ALICANTE AREA SPAIN

Indeed the Melia hotel group have about 7 hotels in Alicante - we had a long weekend there last April and stopped at the one on the seafront next to the marina and a casino - they have got some good deals on at the moment see - https://www.melia.com/en/hotels/spain/alicante/melia-alicante/

If you want the best hotel we would say Hospis Amigos, top notch very tasty. Avoid all restaurants on the front line and go back 6 or so streets to the small Tapas bars. Enjoy
