We've booked the Artika Natura for the 3rd to 10th May...

Has anybody stayed here and can give us some info on it please?

We were there two weeks ago. Nice little place with very friendly staff, good attention to detail all around the place.

We just returned from a week at Artika Natura. We really enjoyed it and can echo previous comments about friendly staff, attention to detail etc. let us know if you have specific questions, but rest assured that if a peaceful naturist haven in a great location is what you are looking for then Artika Natura should be top of your list.

Thanks for the feedback! Glad you enjoyed your holiday.

Are there plenty of sunbeds by the pool? Are the facilities good? Bar?

After nearly 3 years of not being away, we just want to get some sun on our backs and have some fun.

On a wider point, did you get out much, and what is it like out at the moment?

There are enough sunbeds for everyone…it is a fairly small place as you will have seen. We weren’t in one of the rooms facing the pool, but we very soon realised that the room we had around the back was much better as we more or less had a jacuzzi, several sunbed options and lots of private space to ourselves, in addition to being able to spend time by the pool and mingle when we wanted to. People tend to put towels out on sunbeds by the pool in the morning (they ask that nobody does so before 9) as not all sunbeds get sun at the same time in the morning and afternoon.

The facilities are all very good, clean and the staff are very friendly and good. The bar is well stocked and not expensive. You can also get basic snacks and meals from the bar, which is convenient and good enough albeit that you shouldn’t expect to see Michelin stars anytime soon. Breakfast is self-help but with more than adequate hot and cold options.

We went out for evening meals (not an option from the bar) but then there are some fantastic restaurants on the beachfront near the lighthouse so you would always want to experience those. Cafe del Mar is worth a mention for great food, cabaret, music and sorts of live entertainment. El Churrasco was another firm favourite for steak etc. We also went to the beach (a bit windy so the pool at Artika was our preference), shopping (upmarket shopping to be had around Meloneras) and we also hired a motorcycle to explore the mountains and other parts of the island for a few days, which is very highly recommended if your sort of thing.

We didn’t spend very much time around PDI as the look and feel didn’t really appeal, albeit I know that others enjoy much of their time in GC there.

Hope this helps. Happy to provide more info if helpful

Thank you so much.

We hired a car a few years ago and spent 2 or 3 days up in the mountains which was great.

There's a great tapas restaurant we go to ( can't remember the name), and we do like to go to PDI as well.

Is this place single male friendly? And is it purely naturist or is there a swingers element to it?

Sorry to dig out this old thread but we were wondering if anyone else stayed there. We are coming to GC in July and our usual place (Magnolias Natura) is closed so Artika looks like perfect alternative.
