Is it still a locator form and proof of vaccinations?

What about coming home

Do we still have to test 2 days before coming home or has that been scrapped

Any info greatly recieved

Fill in Spanish form 48 hours before arrival in GC as before

No test leaving GC to come home, just fill in the UK form as do a lateral flow within two days after you come home.

Same as last time you were there I think

Less than 3 weeks for us now

Yoh just need to do a day 2 lateral flow test when you get back to the uk. You don’t need to upload it or anything unless it’s positive

You have to pay for a test so you have the number to put on your locator form and you have to send (usually a photo) of the results and get a certificate and it's entered against your records

Nobody should take advice from here as it changes so regular, best to check your airline website or official government advice.

A few months ago loads of people ordered LFT tests weeks in advance and then it changed back to PCR and they couldn't get a refund.

We order the tests at the last possible moment just in case usually 5-6 days before we return home but check delivery deadlines first.

This is good advice. We went to Dortmund in December. Four days before travelling, it changed from LFT to PCR. And had we arrived the day after we did, we would had to have done a pre departure test.

All this in the space of a week. And that’s with three lots of viagra in my arm!

We go the beginning of March and I am struggling to get my head round this rather fluid situation. Hopefully things will be more settled, clear and routine when we come to working out and booking what is needed.

As i understand it, from the end of the first week in jan its a ridiculous situation where anyone vaccinated, positive or not can fly untested!

Maybe to promote the spread to achieve herd immunity? Im happy to be corrected, thats how i read it this week from a major airline website updates page.

Well, why is it OK to travel from London without a test, but not from GC, when London has a higher case rate than GC?

"Well, why is it OK to travel from London without a test, but not from GC, when London has a higher case rate than GC?"

You can not enter GC (or Spain generally) unless you are fully vaccinated. This is not a requirement for the UK. Also, these rules apply to all entrants and are generic for every country in the world.

according to major airlines you can enter spain with 1 dose of single shot or 2 doses of double shot vaccines, positive or not as theres no test required.

there are lots of countries you can travel to unvaccinated, portugal, brazil . etc

Yes, just a note that the booster is not required, you can travel out positive if vaccinated but you wont get back positive

The rules defy logic so check on your airlines app as i did in the latest updates bit in case of changes
