"Is it still a locator form and proof of vaccinations? What about coming home Do we still have to test 2 days before coming home or has that been scrapped Any info greatly recieved Xxxxxx" Fill in Spanish form 48 hours before arrival in GC as before No test leaving GC to come home, just fill in the UK form as do a lateral flow within two days after you come home. Same as last time you were there I think Less than 3 weeks for us now

"Yoh just need to do a day 2 lateral flow test when you get back to the uk. You don’t need to upload it or anything unless it’s positive" You have to pay for a test so you have the number to put on your locator form and you have to send (usually a photo) of the results and get a certificate and it's entered against your records

"Thanks for posting this I’ve no idea what else I need..just ordered the test for when I get home..but least I know I deffo don’t need to a test before I travel..maspalomas for me next Monday " Nobody should take advice from here as it changes so regular, best to check your airline website or official government advice. A few months ago loads of people ordered LFT tests weeks in advance and then it changed back to PCR and they couldn't get a refund. We order the tests at the last possible moment just in case usually 5-6 days before we return home but check delivery deadlines first.

Four days before travelling, it changed from LFT to PCR. And had we arrived the day after we did, we would had to have done a pre departure test. All this in the space of a week. And that’s with three lots of viagra in my arm!

"Well, why is it OK to travel from London without a test, but not from GC, when London has a higher case rate than GC?" You can not enter GC (or Spain generally) unless you are fully vaccinated. This is not a requirement for the UK. Also, these rules apply to all entrants and are generic for every country in the world.

"Its all clear now, thanks We fly out on the 30th of January for a week. First visit in two years and have missed the place and people and now not so nervous " The rules defy logic so check on your airlines app as i did in the latest updates bit in case of changes

"We go the beginning of March and I am struggling to get my head round this rather fluid situation. Hopefully things will be more settled, clear and routine when we come to working out and booking what is needed." Me too I was looking lastnight, don't know what we need.
