Hi guys a girls.

We're back in PDI on Tuesday and wondering what covid regulations are in force now.

We know it's masks everywhere, but what are closing times for bars and clubs also is it 50% only inside a bar etc.

San Fernando, Gran Canaria

This is just general advice to anyone travelling to Spain in these times.

On the Gov.uk website under Home - Foreign Travel Advice - Spain

You will find two useful sections.

1 - Corona Virus

This covers Spanish Covid-19 regulations. You made need to enquire about regional regulations as these may differ from region to region.

2 - Entry Requirements

This will tell you what documentation you need for entry into Spain.

You can also subscribe to receive emails on updates which are usually sent out within hours of confirmation from the Spanish Embassy.

We just want to relay our own experience having flown back to the UK yesterday.

There is a debate as to whether one should print out one's documents or have them on your phone....

Our queue was unusually slow going and this was because absolutely no one had their documentation ready.

When we walked to the desk we presented:

1) Passport

2) E - Ticket

3) Proof of Covid-19 Vaccinations

4) Passenger locator form

The guy at the check in desk nearly cried and stood up to thank us both for being the only ones in over an hour to present what was required.

We understand the frustration of not being able to print out documents at your temporary accommodation but if you prepare your apps ready to go while you are in the queue it is less frustrating for you, for the check-in staff, and the people behind you.

If you check in your baggage in GC a green banded sticker is attached to your passport or ticket. When they see this at the gate you are not asked for documents at the gate. Useful to know...

When I went in November rather than open the app in the queue I had already downloaded the documents needed onto my phone. You can rename them and use a number to start the name so they are on your phone in the order you need to show them.

The advantage of downloading is that if for any reason you cant get a mobile signal you still have the document on the phone ready to show.
