Zurich. NOT London.

There is mention of GC possibly going to level 3 today. Although Spain has said it is not looking to change travel restrictions ahead of Xmas.

We fly on the 26th, I expect to be going. If venues operate the vaxx pass scheme, they can operate at the lover level than currently in place, so I assume some places will put this in place so they can stay open until 2am, if indeed the island goes to level 3 later today.

Cap d’Agde, France

An absolute pain in the arse just to get from France to the UK next week with all the knee jerk reactions from the bunch of clowns calling themselves a government.

Incredibly we were having lots of fun in La Mirage just 2 weeks ago, seriously swinging in Ireland 6 weeks ago and having a wild summer here in Cap d'Agde without a thought in the world.

Looking at the UK though and Project Fear is very much back on the agenda.

Powers that be seemed to be changing their mind every couple of days so wouldn't be too hopeful of New Year in GC.

I had to show my Covid pass twice last night at Cita.

I was also informed that masks don't have to be worn outside but they must be visible. I assume that's why lots of people are walking around with a mask around their arm.

Love this take note, the governments work for us. Taxes and voting done by US. Make your own decisions but I’m certain you’ll all be safe regardless. Express your freedoms how many are saying, speak out or it’ll be your freedom year on year they’re coming for next. No reason for such high PCR prices once again after all the antigen testing, countries like turkey an official PCR costs €11, in Spain you could be lucky to find 30€ PCRS. Yet the UK and boris who’ve been affording parties no social distancing and plenty of holidays all are fine with €50+ PCRS. This is a money heist, it’s not about health and it’s certainly not about the best for your common countrymen and women!

Agree absolutely,

Have spent this morning trawling through the UK govt. website for PCR tests, a minefield of different companies with charges as high as £130 pp.

Here in France, a PCR test is free if you're in the health system.

We have to test constantly for work, constantly for flying (to work) and expect to continue to do so for some time yet.

I expect Spain to ask for a test to travel from the UK fairly soon. We will lat flow anyway, but if a PCR is required, so be it.

If we want/need to travel we have to accept the extra costs.
