Excellent, that's the sort of action we need and hopefully with the infrastructure now available we can avoid a repeat of March 2020

Disturbing news coming out from Europe that Switzerland has announced people from the UK must produce a negative PCR test and self isolate for 10 days on arrival.

Will Spain follow suit?

It's never about the UK in respect of travelling abroad, its all about the country you are travelling too.

Netherlands is having a fine old time with travelers arriving back from South Africa

No, it's a day 2 test, so not until after you arrive back in the UK.

The way I read it is I have to self isolate on return until I get a negative test, nothing about waiting until day 2, day 2 were the old rules

If i test negative in pdi i am negative in Bristol

Zurich. NOT London.

The PCR test has to be an approved genomic sequencing test done in the UK.

Lots are available to do on your return, it has to be done day 2 or earlier. It can be done at the airport on your arrival.

Test is day 0 - day 2. We have booked ours for the evening we arrive at the test centre located at the airport.
