Costa Del Sol weather start of January

Hi,

Thinking of heading out to Malaga end of December/start of Januray. Anyone have any idea what the weather is usually like at that time of year? Appreciate that it must change from year to year but wonder if it will be warm enough to hit the beach?

Never been sunbathing on the beach in January, but it's often warm enough to use the sunbeds on a terrace if you're sheltered from any breeze.
