Dunes are still being patrolled.

We got stopped going across the dunes today by one of the patrols. We had gone just slightly off the track so that we could walk on the hard ground rather than the soft ground. We were practically behind kiosk 6 but the patrol stopped us and told us we had to follow the path down to the Palm Beach Hotel and then walk back down the beach.

If they were to patrol this properly it means that there is no track to follow to go from PDI to the beach as the walkways actually take you from the Riu Palace to the Palm Beach with no route to any of the beaches.

They guys patrolling the dunes were nice enough. Just make sure you stay on the designated paths for as long as possible before deviating off towards the beach.

Genuinely on our way to the beach just trying to go where it was easier to walk seeing as we now have to carry more to the beach because there are no sunbeds and the bar is shut.

If we had been heading into thr dunes for anything else I would've said so.

Just in Maspalomas from today and I wondered about walking in the dunes. Thanks for the update.

Quick question-Are people walking nude or do you have to cover up? Cheers
