Thinking of a trip to Almayate this weekend, is the nudist beach busy? Much going on?

Southport

I've been there a few days this week - seems to be a lot of older gays and 'meerkats' frequenting the beach.

Good luck and enjoy yourself if you venture down there. Hopefully you'll have more luck than me.

Had a look, busy. Didn't go past the Rio but close. Sat near a couple, she was gorgeous, legs wide and a little fingering. He was staring at the blokes and telling them off for wanking which they weren't.

Anyway, where are any play areas? Anybody help?

As a nudist beach, great and on a saturday, lots of people. Not sure as a 'play' beach.

Snowdonia & Costa del Sol

it can be sexy but not on the beach front. The back of the beach by the palm trees seems the best place. The area by the Rio Velez is dominantly gay. Much better gender balance (i.e. lots of women, often in pairs of groups) than beaches in the UK which tend mostly to be dominated by older single men

Snowdonia & Costa del Sol

we got back to Almayate nude beach on March 1 and found that there had been a major fire which had destroyed the palm tree plantation we used to pitch in front of and to wander into. Does anyone know what happened?

Two fires there within a few weeks. Often happens sometime deliberate, allegedly..!

We were there a few years ago when the whole campsite was in danger of going up.

Luckily it was stopped before it got too close.

Hi,

Have a few days in Malaga in May and wondered if anyone would be good enough to let me know how easy Almayata beach is to reach from Malaga. I'll be staying in the city itself and probably relying on public transport- can you get to the beach via bus?

Also, any recommendations on best area of the beach for a straight male to get a bit of all over sun?

Many thanks.

There is a bus stop right outside the Almanat camp site, from there it's a 10 minute walk down to the beach.

You can walk through the car park and gain access to the bar, but not site itself.

go to bus station near the port in malaga city and get the 260 or 167 to torre del mar. Almayate is 2kms before TDM. about 3 euros on the bus. Its takes 45 minutes to an hour depending on traffic.
