Swadlincote

Has anybody stayed at the Din Miguel in Maspalomas?

Looking at booking for late September - early October.

Thought venus star might be too full on and have realised that we can go to venus as day visitors.

Experiences would be appreciated.

Ive stayed in the Don Miguel a few times when it was a Riu hotel, great location and nice accommodation. Its now run by Servataur but certainly well worth a visit. I tend to use the Riu Papayas now as its still only a few hundred yards walk to Yumbo.

I’ve stayed at the Don Migel several times over the years, it’s a great place handy for the amenities. Food was always good. I’m staying at the Occidental from 16 Sept - purely for the nudist solarium on the roof.

Lovely! I don't know what Servatur are like, Riu were always very good. Also liked the Flamingo, then it became AI with the Papayas, that's when we stopped going there

It was a Riu hotel not a Barcelo but looking at the photos little has changed.

We certainly do. We have stayed half board, but rarely go for dinner at the hotel, preferring to eat out, at a time that suits us
