The way to Studio69 CC yumbo

If you walk past the minigolf on your right hand, you pas the parkingplace, past the HyperDino, you go down (one level) the stairs at Windsor Garden restaurant, turn left and we are in the corner

If you have sparkles at your right hand you pass the Mexican restaurant and then turn right, you will see us in the corner

If you go pass Fund Grube you go down one stairs, turn right and you will see us in the corner

local 22106

Be careful, the law did not say that, the law said there is no curfew between 00.00 and 06 hours. Has nothing to do with closing the restaurants and bars!!!!!

Loved the old Imagine bar, just a shame Sparkles has gone, that was always our starting point before heading to Cita, we'd have been quite happy staying at Yumbo Sparkles then Studio 69, probably still will, we just need to find a new starter bar

I'm going to post my/our thoughts here which has been discussed between many holiday makers from August. It was decided that one post is sufficient and that many posts would just be too overwhelming.

Discussions raised were....

No running water at all so how are glasses cleaned to a high standard.

No establishment toilet so the patron asks all custoners to use the toilet in the surrounding shopping centre.

There is no seating area outside apart from 2 high rise tables that feel cramped due to guidlines on square metres.

Also discussed was the drinks that appeared to be out of date from the consistency of the fluids.

There was an incident that one female within our well established group fell ill after drinking a fluid from the bar but with respect that can't be pinpointed.

The last thing that everyone noticed was that each bar update were not accurate and previous nights were not busy when suggested that they were. This was quite frowned upon as a way to gain custom.

So as a group we will not return but wish you the best going forward.

Its basically very simple.

Using studio 69 as an example some people love it and have given thier reasons why.

Some don't including myself and others and have given reasons why.

It's doesn't open people up to abuse those for not liking the place.

Making suggestions and assumptions too which is not appealing.

What this comes down to is people who feel negative about it should not say.. people who feel positive about it can share thier thoughts.

Completely understand some would like to protect thier friends but in the right way would be better suited.

Anyway I'm not going to continue to debate someone elses drawbacks.

I'll feed back to the discussion group on certain responces.

People really should just go and see how they personally find it.

I think comments around the quality of the drink etc is more a reflection of the poster and are probably unsubstantiated. My drink was generous and tasted fine and I’m (just about) alive today! These do come across as an attack on the club and obviously have an agenda. Also is it just me who is embarrassed for a grown adult posting stuff like that.

I have no idea re toilets as I didn’t need them but there are toilets very close by so it’s not a huge issue. I’ve walked further to other toilets in clubs back home.

I have absolutely no agenda/affiliation. I was in Imagine a couple of times when it was in Cita and didn’t speak to either owner. Last night, apart from another couple of people, the club was quiet and Saskia was friendly and professional. I’m sure they are just trying to make a success of a pretty bad situation, the last 18 months.

If you are in the Yumbo, it’s not going to be the worst thing you do to go in and check it out for yourself.

It’s been a really tough 18 months for a lot of people so let’s just support businesses and people.

Again there is someone who automatically assumes there is an agenda from a review.

Again clearly positive reviews are ok but a negative is attacked from lack of knowledge.

You provide a warm welcome to all, you always say thank you when they leave. You serve drinks that people ask for and your measures are more than generous.
