Maldon

I know I should google it but wanted to ask on here first. Post Brexit is it easier to relocate to live on the Canaries rather than mainland Spain?

Hmmm, Don't mind being tied or blindfolded, but the jumping through hoops would put me off

Canary Islands

All depends on your situation .. looking for work ... retiring... Have a remote business ... All have different hurdles. It's definitely more tricky post Brexit but not impossible.. be prepared to get the run around by the many government offices ... Oh and don't forget all the fun with your uk driving licence lol ..

Unfortunately not. Britons who are not residents in Spain and want to buy a home in the Canary Islands must now have permission from the Spanish Ministry of Defence following the completion of Brexit. We are now no longer EU citizens but third country foreigners.

A military permit is a necessary requirement to be able to close the sale of a property, and without it the sale cannot go through, and it cannot be processed afterwards.

Sorry
