Maspalomas Sand dunes

Does anyone know if the Dunes are open? More for naked sunbathing than fun... But if its on the agenda then...

The Dunes are closed for sunbathing and whatever else.

You can walk around them to get to and from the beach I think.

People DO sunbathe etc there BUT at their own risk. Hope this helps

You are allowed on the designated paths through the dunes. The area has always been protected for ecological reasons but it was never enforced. It is now and the dunes are more beautiful than ever. Mother nature has had time to repair the damage done by the humans.

Last time we walked through the paths it stank of piss, and parts littered with tissue and condoms. Not much of a surprise they closed it off.
