Costa Blanca Spain...

Cap is unique, there is nothing like it anywhere in the world.

In Spain there are plenty of naturist beaches and some where a bit of fun can be had in dunes/woods behind. But full sex on the beach like in Cap, forget it.

In Spain it is much lower key and in most places very hit and miss.

Probably the closest to Cap would be PDI/Maspalomas on Gran Canary.

Although it's a vanilla resort there are a decent number of swinger clubs and swinger friendly bars. There are also a couple of dedicated swinger complexes (La Mirage an Venus Star)

Before Covid there was quite a bit of action in the dunes behind the naturist beach. However we hear that access to the dunes is now heavily restricted.

Closest to Cap naturist village would be Vera Playa (Almeria) It has a long naturist beach, a naturist hotel and 3 or 4 naturist urbanisations next to the beach. It does attract quite a few swingers but it is very low key.

Sex on the beach there would probably get you arrested and there are no dunes behind. The one swinger club is closed and (so we believe) up for sale.

Other than that it is pick an area with a naturist beach or two (there are plenty to choose from) and hope for the best.

In our area (south Costa Blanca) there is Playa los Tusales between Guardamar and La Marina. A long naturist beach with extensive dunes/woods behind it. There are always plenty of single guys (Meercats) patrolling in there but other couples are few and far between. However it does have a swinger club close by (Besos) and before Covid the were 5 clubs in Alicante city (20/30 minute drive)

"La Marina is a stunning beach (between Alicante and Torrevieja) dunes behind where things happen am informed."

Yes very true, we love there, and yes there is a bit of fun to be had in the dunes. It's mostly single guys (Meercats) on patrol but if that is your thing you can't really go wrong.

However it should be remembered that while it is locally known as La Marina beach, it's a bit of a misnomer.

It isn't in La Marina at all, it's actually part of Guardamar.

The name of the beach is Playa los Tusales (or els Tossals in Valenciano) That is how it is shown on maps.

The actual Playa La Marina is a textile beach and it would be red faces all round (or worse) if you got your kit off on that one.

It may seem a bit trivial and pedantic to those of us that know the area well, but a first time visitor using google maps could make a big mistake.

I think the confusion arose because most people access it from the La Marina campsite end. They just called it La Marina beach and the name stuck.

Cabopino beach, rally nice, beach and dunes, Andy`s bar is alive and kicking we really liked the area not over commercialized, tables and chairs on the sand and there is a really nice small marina with a few restaurants around it, not a concrete jungle! we recommend it and will be back !!
