Now near Vera in Spain

I went to VP on Sunday and was a little disappointed not to see much progress being made on the Pirata bar. Does anyone know what's happening?

Also, are any of the other places nearby worth visiting for a beer and a chat?

They have been working on the pirate bar but I was told there has been a problem with the local council not sure what. Hopefully things will open up sooner rather than later

West Yorkshire.

There was a petition going round to support the rebuilding of the Pirate bar. Plans had been submitted but clowncil were dragging their heels. Must have resolved as yesterday friends sent pics to say it had been demolished & was to be rebuilt 20ft or so further back on more solid ground. Fingers crossed all goes well because we are hoping to be there enjoying a beer or two from mid Aug!!

Costa Blanca Spain...

We were thinking about driving down for 2/3 days next month.

We don't really fancy the hotel but all the apartments we can find seem to be minimum 1 week.

Anyone know different?

Firstly, many thanks to the user that PM'd us the info.

Natsun do shorter rentals so it looks like we will be there from 9th-12th July. A couple of things to sort beforehand but that is 99% certain.

We've been down to Vera many times over the years but only for the day, we've never stayed over.

We are pretty clued up on the daytime places (Beach bars Etc) but the nightlife is a bit of a mystery.

We are aware that Templum is closed (maybe it will re-open maybe not) but which bars (if any) are the more swinger friendly? and what do the ladies wear at night, sexy outfits or just normal clothes?

As an example picture number 3 on our profile, would that be acceptable, or out of place? Yes she is naked underneath LOL.

Broadway bar right in front of the hotel is where you need to go. Your outfit (pic 3) would certainly be acceptable

Thanks for that.

Mrs was worried that she would wear one of her see through outfits then everyone else is in street clothes.

She's used to Cap d'Agde where anything goes but she would not like being the only one.

We rarely go round to Hotel Sreet these days. We tend to frequent LaLa's in an evening nr the apt, after the Pirate & Natura bars. Maybe go round the other way to the fairly new Vera Plaza a few times whilst there.

Pirate bar has been moved back a few metres and is now level, at the moment they are running in the services so hopefully it's reopening is imminent

Yes, I noticed the Pirata bar in a new (level) position when I went to the beach on Sunday. I too hope it'll be open soon, there's nowhere else quite like it!
