Hi all,

We travel a lot (well, we did until 2020, and plan to do so again soon!).

Does anyone know of any similar sites to Fab that cover other countries in Europe?

It would be good to hook up with like-minded people when we are away.

Costa Blanca Spain...

There are lots of swinger sites all over Europe.

However using foreign sites to arrange meets isn't as easy as it may appear.

The biggest hurdle is language.

French sites are in French, Spanish in Spanish Etc. Even the aforementioned Joy club is mostly in German.

To be fair you can use a translation program to knock up a basic profile and even exchange a message or two but even they have their drawbacks.

Then what happens when you meet?

Contrary to popular belief most Europeans (probably only Dutch and Scandinavians aside) don't speak English.

Mrs H is native German, speaks pretty much perfect English and has a smattering of Spanish. I have enough Spanish to get by and can do basic stuff in German and French. But sometimes we struggle.

Bottom line is that your language skills need to be up to scratch to get the best out of joining a foreign site. Although you could probably have a bit of fun on the way.

Now near Vera in Spain

I was just looking at the aforementioned JOYclub site and different languages are well catered for. The site is multi-lingual in that can be changed into the language that suits you best. Plus other people's profiles can be translated by just clicking a button.

How many people are on there I'm yet to find out!

Madrid

Well I don't really agree about what you said that not many people besides dutch are able to communicate in English. I believe this was in the past but nowadays... Even so of course we can do grammar or spelling mistakes but I feel I can communicate 100% in English

Zurich. NOT London.

We've never had any issues communicating on either the German or other international sites.

We haven't had any problem communicating with other nationalities in clubs or bars either. I suppose if you want to, you'll find a way

North Lakes and Manchester

S D C is a worldwide site and has a translation of messages option if you need it. It’s handy to advertise travel meets and see who is local in the vicinity, we’ve had a few good meets and made some very good friends from all over xx

We used this site exclusively when we traveled throughout Europe and Asia, met some amazing people and equally amazing experiences
