We've booked accommodation which can be cancelled or moved to another time but not risking booking flights as yet. Too much uncertainty at the moment with testing and isolating and insurance cover.

Fingers are crossed tho as we want the world to return to some type of normality by then....and we would love a holiday in the sun with our gorgeous sexy friends.

Certainly hope it works for you but not sure things will be straight forward.

Do you guys expect to have both your vacs by then ?

There seems to be suggestion that tourists may need to be fully vaccinated before allowed in to some countries.

Our rough calculations suggest we will be late Sept by time we get the 2nd jabs so looking at Oct/Nov for our trip.

Government saying they are hopeful that all over 50’s will have had first vaccine by May. Worse case scenario 12 weeks till 2nd jab makes it Aug. I’ve had mine but fingers crossed this is the case for hubby then we can get away! x

We are thinking of maybe getting out in September. I guess La Mirage is already fully booked. Don’t really like Venus Star ( preferred the old Venus ). Anyone recommend anywhere else that is swinger friendly? Have stayed at Magnolias Natura but that’s strictly naturists.

It more or less means the government retain the power to use the covid emergency laws brought in last summer. Doesn’t mean they will use that power to keep everything lockdown for six more months. Just means if things get worse again they can shut down everything. So it’s partly in our power to stop that / them.

Hi guys, I like you all am hoping that Gran Canaria is open for holidays in September. I have booked two weeks from the 5th at the LAMBRANDA HOTEL, Playa Bonita. It would be lovely to meet up with female site members who would be in the same area at that time. I have heard so much about pier 4 I will have to visit. I’m not sure, can only presume it’s because they haven’t sold enough tickets. When we looked at the seating plan only 12 seats books….that’s not to say everyone pre books their seats but it doesn’t bode well x

Easy jet still not been in touch about the flights being cancelled but logged on today and says how we can have a refund credit note or change flights, we are gutted only paid 268 for both of us flights 2 bags and seats with Ryan Air or jet2 flights for same us between 700 to 750

Easy jet still not been in touch about the flights being cancelled but logged on today and says how we can have a refund credit note or change flights, we are gutted only paid 268 for both of us flights 2 bags and seats with Ryan Air or jet2 flights for same us between 700 to 750

We got our flights with BA for 480 on the 4th still e_tra to what you’ve paid but it’s as bad as 700

We are booked with Jet 2 from newcastle on September 5th for 7nights ,,, hope the flights are still on after reading all these posts. Bars closing at 12 ? Oh dear looks like fun in sand dunes / hotel then. Good luck everyone if your booked to go.

Has anyone been to any clubs.

We tended to go to comeback and other bars then end up later on in a club.

Do people just go straight to a club or just start earlier. As far as we can understand the clubs close at 12.

Lifestyle clubs can open, it all depends on the licence they operate under.

At the moment all hospitality closes at midnight, so people go out earlier and tend get things started earlier. The midnight finish SUCKS for us as everyone has to close and are doing the same hours so no-one really gets the numbers they are used to.

Its low season right now, so by September (fingers crossed) we will get the go ahead to open till 2am and it will be a bit better for everyone.

We're thinking of biting the bullet and booking from 18th to 28th (£260 for two plus 20kg each luggage with Ryanair from Stansted). Plenty good places to stay at great prices but......how are things out there now?? The beaches and kiosks, clubs etc, are they still closing at midnight?? We've both been double jabbed (in the arm lol!!) so reading that we don't need a PCR test providing we have the NHS proof of vaccine, is this right or do we need the antigen tests at some stage?? Help please as the clock is ticking!!!

I would like to say GC is still level 4 so midnight close time.

We are flying out 28th Aug and on tender hooks as a possibility it could turn a Red country from Thursday 26 th Aug we are hoping not as personally I thing GC figures are very good.

But our Government being asses as normal.

So book but make sure you can cancel or change flights. TUi and jet 2 are cancelling flights to number of Spanish destinations.

Not scare mongering just worried for everyone especially our GC friends who need tourists and lifestyle people.

We are praying to the sun god it stays yellow or goes green. Xx
