Somewhere in the South West

Were considering booking two weeks in Tenerife from Mid Sept....

The 64,000 dollar question is, do we think holidays will be up and running again by then?????

We're booked for Costa Adeje last week of September and first week of October so hopefully it's better by then.

Where is best to book, Costa Adeje or Playas de Las Americas. We haven't been to Tenerife before so a little unsure what area to book?

Both areas are nice, Adeje is probably a bit more upmarket than Playa.

We find Costa Adeje a little quieter than Playa which can be very noisy around the Veronica's area. Also it's a 5 min taxi ride away so you can party noisy and sleep quiet if you want.

Nice hotel and as said Costa Adeje is a little more quieter and a bit more upmarket to pdla but still near,but still plenty nice bars and restaurants,and Mystique is in San Eugenio now(hopefully when they can open)as for safety,Tenerife is WAY behind the uk for cases and deaths and coming down day by day,possible restrictions will be reduced again Saturday!

Our booking has now changed, we're currently now booked to go to Gran Canaria on 18th September providing it stays Amber. Tenerife initially was looking too much of a gamble at the time of booking,so we hedged our bets on GC.

In tenerife at the moment some restrictions in place not that different from back home. One good think I've noticed being a non smoker is that people aren't smoking at tables you need to go outside. Don't know if it's a restriction or people just being thoughtful for others

I'm in Los Cristianos and yes smokers across the island must go away from tables etc to smoke. Brilliant if you're a non-smoker.

It's a restriction, got to ensure 2m distance to smoke. Got to admit I am enjoying the fresher air in pubs here too
