Has anyone started in the tigotan hotel in Tenerife we noticed it’s got a roof terrace for nudists just wondering what it’s like ,

Its decent as far as they go,nice relaxed place no complaints

You need your key card to access the rooftop where you'll find a small eternity pool. jacuzzi and loungers at one end of the roof, a bar in the centre section which is nice of an evening with the views, and thru another door into the nude area via your smart key once more. need to cover up to use the pools bar loo etc but its pleasant enough laying in the sun up there of a day, though we never noticed is anything other than a vanilla atmosphere really, as opposed to the situation in Gran can where there the likelihood of there being swingers using it,

Nice hotel all round though its name of Tigotan friends and lovers hints of it being a bit edgy, it is in fact used by the usual people you find in every other hotel in PLA but its great to be kid free in a quality hotel. awesome food too

Tigotan (friends and lovers) is a lovely hotel... The nudist roof terrace is fairly small with 12-15 sunbeds, but it is very private. We met several couples "on the roof" when we visited in April 2019, which also led to several good nights out, we also got invited to a aqua centre which has a naturist night twice a month. Would love to stay at Tigotan again when the virus allows.

The rooftop bar (which is really cool with a sax player, singers, DJs and an ibiza chill vibe) is a dressed area, so is the roof sauna (but most people undressed in the sauna and one couple played on several occasions when we were staying) The rooftop infinity pools and the poser areas are also dressed. However there is an area for nude sunbathing, totally private so no onlookers, when you check-in you need to request that the nudist area is added to your room entry card, this stops people just popping in to have a look...

I've stayed at the tigotan a number of times. Fabulous hotel, great location. The nudist section is 99% vanilla from my experiences. The area is visible from the rooftop pool area as the surrounding wall is not very high at all. So the taller you are......Don't think you can be seen when lying down. Someone commented on the sauna saying fun was to be had but as far as im know you have to book your time slot in the sauna. Must reiterate though a fantastic hotel. One of the best.
