Reading in the UK press of a huge influx of "refugees" to the island.

Is it true and if so what impact is it having on the holiday hotspots?

Some are being temporarily housed in hotel and apartment accomodation.

Haha no. There is lots of information on the Canarian Weekly , about what's happening on the island. I haven't seen anywhere that the immigrants are having any impact on the island

It’s not having the impact that the press are making it out to be. Yes there is a lot just now. But last Monday they took 7500 off the islands

We saw quite a few when we were there recently but they paid absolutely no attention to us whatsoever.
