Looking to go 2021 if all is well in the world ,never traveled out of the uk so it’s a bit of a once in a lifetime trip for us , best months to go and places to stay , going for a fun holiday not sight seeing so any help is welcome Please John and Lou xxx

People say there’s a season for swingers sept-April but we have been summer months and always meet up like minded others - are you after a hotel or apartment /bungalow ?? Check out other forums titles for more info

Sounds like we will be converted lol as to accommodation have been told gold by the marina but not bothered as long as it’s close to beach well dunes we have been told and short taxi to the clubs , we don’t mind as long as it’s clean and definitely not vanilla lol j and l

As the person said, you have to stick to the marked pathways through the dunes. They are protected and they want to maintain them now that lockdown has restored them to their natural beauty due to no people wandering across them disregarding the paths.

The Canarian news reports say there are on the spot fines that can be given.

They put in new posts to mark paths over the last year. There's a good selection of paths in different directions starting at the Rui to K7 / 6 also to the lighthouse, one that leads you to the camel safari base and another we didn't try that goes up towards the ravine near the golf course.

If you Google "Maspalomas dunes map" then ckck the "images" tab you will get a selection of maps showing the trails and no go areas but not all are up to date
