Hi all.... just would like to know from anyone if there is another beach area where couples and single meet for some fun other than the dunes of Maspalomas ( I regularly go to the Maspalomas dunes ) but as I have heard the dune area is now closed i would like to know of alternatives. I have been told there is another small beach heading towards Puerto Rico but not sure of the location.. does anyone have any information .... post or pm any information would be most welcome thank you

There are 3 paths through the dunes and each is worth a walk, you're just not allowed to stray off the path marked by wooden posts and it's actually been the case for a few years now but wasn't rigorously enforced.

I don't think your even allowed to sunbathe at the side of the path now

I think it might go back the way it was when all the tourists return as there are far too many germans to try to control lol

We think we know the beach you are referring to. We tried to find it using a Sat nav when we were there a couple of weeks ago but gave up. Think it's called playa nudista montana arena.

Been there and it's no substitute for the dunes, not even close.

It’s “Playa Montana”......an awful beach, attracts mostly Canarians, very popular at weekends especially with motorhomes/campervans from Las Palmas. Lots of rubbish around and no toilets or other facilities. Beach is a mix of textile/naturist.

Thank you for your reply’s ... I agree there is no substitute to the dunes and I enjoyed the area for the last 10 years .... I hope that the Germans and others venture in to their usual areas.... I fully understand blocking some of the big dune area at the back .... but the amount of area that was actually used by people was so small in comparison to the whole area out the back.

I will try looking for the other beach when I next return ( when who knows) the random meeting and fun is what turns me on.

To all those that plan to go soon or are there stay safe
