it has a load of personal stuff which the previous owners allowed us to leave and it does need some TLC

we have rented property before in France not a 100% happy experience

"Completely agree"

... As in leaving personal stuff behind etc. Not a reference to the need for TLC, just to be clear...

Costa Blanca Spain...

The biggest mistake you can make is to go anywhere in Spain for a couple of weeks in the summer and then buy a place.

You must go to your chosen area at least twice (ideally more) with one visit out of season.

Vera (like many other places in Spain) can look very different in January/February compared to July/August.

I went several times, at different times of the year, to make sure I liked the climate and the location. It's VERY different during the colder months, when things are quiter, and it can be really busy during the holiday periods. Keep in mind that flights can also vary depending on the time of year (COVID-19 aside) and may mean you have to fly to e.g. Alicante as opposed to Almeria in the winter months.

We bought a lovely 3 bed house in Vera Playa just as Spain locked down

We have managed a trip in July and then again in September

Its a lot quiter than usual but still an idyllic place to stay

Local business needs your support

If you can get out there go You ll feel safe

i agree you have to stay a few times before you buy, we knew we wanted to stay in a naturist urbanisation with a heated indoor poolso that cut the choice down but we think we have picked whare we will be happy and we love the area

Bahia

Its the best maintained

We were looking for winter sun terrace and indoor pool

We've been in there twice today

The beach can be quite winding so a sun facing terrace is a must have

Ours is for rental
