I used to fly from Leeds to either Murcia or Alicante but the Leeds-Murcia option no longer exists for me, so it'll have to be Manchester for the next 6-8 months.

Bristol, Bournemouth or Gatwick are usually good for me.

All go to Murcia which is 1.5 hours from Vera, or Almeria (Gatwick only) airport which is 45 mins.

All really easy but the schedules have gone tits up with Corona Virus!!

The best airports for Vera are Almeria or Murcia.

However in the winter months flights into both are few and far between even in a normal year. It could be (probably will be) worse this winter due to Covid.

For choice Alicante would probably be your best bet. Malaga is also an option.

You'll find very few flights to Almeria in the winter months at the best of times, and covid has knocked the rest off the plan I suspect. So it'll have to be either a long drive or hope to catch a flight to Murcia... Good luck either way

It's a shorter drive from Alicante.

Take the A7 via Murcia and Lorca it should be just over 2 hours. Also toll free.

The AP7 via Cartegena is a bit more cmplicated and a toll road.
