At least one major nightclub opening this weekend (10th / 11th July). However speaking to artists/Cover Acts and DJ's they do not fully expect things to pickup until September/October.

But yes as things stand Tenerife is open. Beach clubs are open for afternoon/evening sessions, and a major nightclub opens this weekend.

Things are slowly getting back to normalish. I arrived on Monday on a half full flight.

I'm in golf del sur and around 60-70% of bars and restaurants are open or set to open as it's got a lot of residential properties which have kept the economy ticking over.

Playa de las Americas is very quiet because mostly touristic area.

You have to wear masks in shops etc and most people are abiding by the rules except the people from the UK who will spoil it for everyone and delay getting back to normal.

Yes, bit by bit, places are opening. One of the 'newish' spots Lava re-opens Tomorrow night 17.07.20. 6.00pm till 3.00am.

Ufff that's not really a "hot" spot....the most famous bars like Magic & Papagayo still not open and now date when they re-open.
