Hi, we are looking at booking a cheeky holiday in the second half as July as we have been given the heads up that the clubs may be open. Anyone going?

Took a gamble and we've booked into Suitehotel for 10th July.

For £250 each all inclusive, with the hotel able to be cancelled for free until 8th, it seems like a gamble worth taking!

So Boris is not 'allowing' international travel at the moment. Would anyone still travel, against foreign office advise?

Looks like we won't be enjoying our planned holiday, jet2 have just emailed to say it's been cancelled.

"Looking at a cheeky 5 nights in gold on the 9th July but don’t want to be the only ones there if anyone else is going "

Are we allowed to travel then, I haven't seen any travel restrictions lifted for international travel.

The rumour mill is strong that these will be lifted 4/7.

It was a gamble that we booked for 10/7 to Suitehotel, although the hotel cancellation policy is available until 8/7 so we may just lose the cost of flights and rebook later in the year.

At the price we paid it’s worth the gamble!

Yes I think they're talking about air bridges. You can see the travel companies will capitalise on the fact that we all want our holidays, but there will be many who can't afford the higher prices.

Well, unless we get deported upon arrival then the gamble seems to have paid off!

We’ll report back on flight, hotel and beaches!

Hi all. We are going from the 18-25th July and staying at Gold hotel now. We cant wait for a change of scenery

Good to see the inevitable air bridges have been announced! We have been told lots of the bars and restaurants have opened up, and that one or two clibs may even be open by mid to end July... so fingers crossed!

What’s people’s suggestions for transfers from airport to PDI hotel and return?

We don’t do multidrop buses or public transport!

"Always wanted go aboard with my partner. What deal guys you suggest? Where is the best to go? "

That's a very big question lol

We like Gran canaria because it's cheap and easy to get to and the sexy atmosphere is one of the things we like.

At the moment it's better to book a package as you're probably better covered in case of cancellation or if you suffered a lockdown.

We went for self catering as we will see what restaurants are open and may cook our own meals but usually we go all inclusive.

There's some great deals to be had at the moment.

Here at the moment.

Stansted was pretty much shut - nowhere to get a ‘drink’ drink and only Boots, Pret and Harris Hoole open.

Flight was fairly normal with a face mask. Drinks and snacks available (download the latest inflight mag through the Ryanair app).

Hotel fab with requirement to wear mask when walking around restaurant.

Beach quite busy.

Many bars and supermarkets still closed.

You're welcome

Now that the rules have changed in Northern Ireland you don't have to quarantine. If you arrive in Dublin you will be allowed to return to Northern Ireland and then you don't quarantine.

Ryanair have a flight going GC on the 14th July for a week for €50 return if you're quick
