Hello one and all!

My first post here, which is to ask a couple of questions and also to save 5 hours of reading!

Would any kind soul be able to let me know, which airport is closer for albox, Almeria or Malaga? We'll be hiring a car too, so info on that welcome.

Its our first visit in Sept, so hopefully going ahead at a private villa. Now on to the beaches and hotspots, whats recommended for beaches, both types, plain tactile for switching off and nudism for pleasure.

Whats recommended?

And of course, anything else that you can recommend please.

Costa Blanca Spain...

As the crow flies the closest is Almeria. However Murcia is a little further away but a much straighter route.

Malaga is way too far.

Depends where your starting from. We see your based in Poole we travel out to vera every september with flights from Bournemouth to murcia. Airport a short taxi for you from Poole. Then about an hour and a quarter drive down to vera. Car hire from murcia plentiful and around a £100 for 2 weeks

I must apologise, i intended to say Almeria and Murcia, its going to depend on flight cost in this case, but as long as there is car hire at both airports we shouldn't have a problem.

We'll be flying from Bournemouth, as long as there are still flights that do fly from there by September with Covid in mind! We're still about 80% hopeful and are watching and reading any news relating to Spanish travel to and from the UK.

Based on the other post regarding Murcia, its starting to look like that may well be our flight destination after all.

Not bad on the car hire either, that seems very acceptable, I've got a few links to car hire companies in spanish airports and have a few saved quotes.

Closest beaches would be between Mojacar and Vera. We've never actually driven that route but from Albox probably around a half hour drive.

We've used the naturist beach at Vera quite a few times, but it is just naturist, nothing more.

Any kind of "fun" there would probably mean that your nightlife would be down at the local nick.

There is one swinger club (Templum) just behind the Vera Club hotel. If and when it re-opens of course.

Thanks for the tips there.

We'll be certain to sunbath only and nothing more on Vera and just nose around elsewhere!
