Juan Marin, the vice president and minister of tourism for Andalucia has said that " it is likely that the beaches in Andalucia will be open this summer with restriction " he also said he had spoken to Hoteliers and restaurateurs and they are studying proposals put forward. It seems there will be limited people allowed on the beaches and will be policed by the local police.

That's good news, although not the most reliable of sources it has to be said..!

But it seems to be a direct quote so that's promising.

We can't wait to get out to somewhere other than Lidl...!

Just a walk along the prom would be nice.

Rent yourself a under 14 child and you can walk them along the sea front on Sunday.

Who is going to want to risk going to Spain only to find they cannot go on the beach because it is full? And who knows what other social distancing measures might be in place in the bars, cafes and taperia?

This is only the opening phase and only for the locals, opening of the boarders will not be for another 4 to 5 months.
