Instead of walking from the lighthouse to kiosk 4 is there a shorter guicker route to the dunes even if it means getting a taxi to pdi

Thought if you went to the hotel at pdi end it would be straight onto the dunes

You can get to the dunes from Rui palice pdi straight onto the dunes but a long way from any play areas but it is a nice walk to get to the play areas hope this helps x

Or you could get onto the path by where the camels are and walk past the swinging area and then onto the beach by kiosk 4

It works out the same, we tried both. The lighthouse is a cooler walk as can get hot in dunes if no breeze x

It works out the same, we tried both. The lighthouse is a cooler walk as can get hot in dunes if no breeze x

That was the walk we did when we stayed at La Mirage.

Good footwear required though.

There were some horrible little seed pods that came from the vegetation. They were razor sharp and stuck to my shoes like limpets. Flip flops not recommended.
